I have used this app for years, and it has worked great. Recently the colors for verse levels (e.g., level 1-8, etc.) have changed so that they are reversed from what they have been since I have used it. It used to be levels 1-6 we're in the "warm" color group (red/orange/yellow) and levels 7-8 were green. Now it's reversed and kind of stressing me out. The old way made more sense because the reds and oranges drew your attention to the newer verses. I have hundreds of verses that are level 8 that are now all red. Is there a way to change these to different color scheme?
Verse Level Colors
Thank you for being such a faithful Remember Me user! After much consideration we decided to revert the order of the colours in order to make them progress from cold to warm. It's mainly about consistency within the app. Blue (indigo) is used for negative responses (Verse forgotten, wrong character typed etc.), while orange is used for positive responses and dark red is the app's main colour and used for highlighting important buttons. Accordingly, we wanted the colours to proceed from blue/green to orange/red.
We do understand the confusion and distress this is causing initially, but we do hope that even long time users will eventually get used to it.

Same here! I have been using the app for more than 5 years and have hundreds of verses and passages. First of all I want to say thank you, because it really has been a blessing to have this application, it is indeed very useful. Now I have to admit that the new color order has a bigger impact on me than I first thought. I understand you want consistency within your app, but if you think of it from the user perspective you'd have to admit it is inconsistent with the way we perceive and use colors in the society, red (warning, urgent, stop, problem, etc), green (doing good, go, healthy), blue (peaceful, expertise, etc). Even the color tags you use in this forum testify to this point. So the new order of colors is not intuitive for us. Besides it is also inconsistent with faithfulness to a system of repetition, which is the point of a Bible Verse Memorization App all along, isn't it?
Back then you allowed us to change the color of the app and the cards, I liked that, my wife likes it so much she hasn't updated the app since then because of it. Hopefully you can give us, the users, the option of choosing the color order, maybe a "reverse color order" button. And even bring back the personalisation of the app and card colors. If it represents a financial challenge, please, say it, I really would like to help to see it happen.
Thank you for giving our petition a consideration.
God bless you with health and strength for your service to the believers!

Making the colour scheme configurable is not that simple. Users would expect the colour configuration to replicate across their devices. The following components would have to be modified:
- App data model
- Local app storage
- Serialisation and deserialisation of accounts on the app
- Data transfer object (for communication with server)
- Server data model
- Server serialisation and deserialisation of accounts
- User interface: color selection widget
- Applying the selected colour scheme on the flashcards
- Applying the selected colour scheme on the verse list items
Of course, if there are any volunteers around who would like to have a go at this extension, please feel free to do so. The app is open source and can be modified by anybody with the skills needed. We currently have got other development priorities.
Another option for getting different flashcard backgrounds would be to add images to your verses.

You may have noticed that, since version 6.7.9 (1456), we reverted the colors to their original order.
If you start using the beta version of the app, you’ll have the opportunity to provide feedback on changes before they are rolled out to everyone.
